Schülercampus 2012

This year we started with our own project at the “Schülercampus2012” between the 1st and 7th of July. 12 computer science interested students attended, and were practicing their robot-soccer trainer skills with our NAO robots. The task was to develop an application, on top of our existing framework, which allows the robot to successfully get through a labyrinth, even if the labyrinth changes. All students were very motivated and had a lot of fun and even overshoot the target and built their own gimmicks into the framework. JRL team-members supervised them and provided help where needed, but mostly this was not necessary, as the students rapidly learned to handle the needed tools and programming languages.
